Dota 2 Update Rolls Out
As eSports advocates, we like to keep up to date with all the latest industry news and this includes changes to our favourite eSports games. Dota2 is one of our favourites, especially as it is a great game for competitive teams and the free-to- play battle arena (MOBA) has more players than ever in the modern age.
With so many accomplished teams vying for top spot, Dota2 provides a real platform for competitive eSports. The game has recently seen a new Dota2 update being released for players to enjoy and we thought we would outline the main features that we found that will affect eSports players!
What’s New in the Dota2 Update?
The next chapter in the game has just begun and there are a few changes that will affect those players that compete in tournaments. As Dota2 players will be aware, the story of Dota is one of constant evolution and the next entry in the tale has finally arrived. The 7.00 Dota2 update offers players the chance to take part in The New Journey and there are a bunch of new features that eSports players can get involved with.
The first is the arrival of Sun Wukong – the new hero monkey king! He is now available and you can test your skills against him on the new terrain complete with announcer pack and two new monkey king comic. Another new feature is the re-vamped interface that lets players see a lot more of the world that is around them.
With the Dota2 update, players can also look forward to a new pregame as well with some excellent and innovative new battle tools that will have eSports and competitive players foaming at the mouth. All of these new tools can be gathered and help you craft your perfect plan of attack against rival teams. Certain aspects of the gameplay have also been improved significant changes to talent trees so Dota2 players should be sure to check these first as the structure of your character could have changed significantly since you last logged on!
Finally, we have new bots on offer as well as some Dota2 character remodels as well. Overall, there are plenty of new features to enjoy with the Dota2 update and a lot of this new content will affect eSports or competitive players.
